Old Tree/Light Pole Is Coming Down

In Front Of Cooperstown Post Office

That old tree that has been serving as a utility pole in front of the Cooperstown Post Office  and across from the Hall of Fame for the past few years is about to come down.  An actual light pole -- a bit dog-eared itself -- has been placed next to the tree.  Village officials say Tallman Tree Service is due to remove the trunk in the next few days.
