COOPERSTOWN – Jane Forbes Clark will speak on her family’s Cooperstown legacy at 3 p. m. today at the Baseball Hall of Fame’s Grandstand Theater, part of the Friends of the Village Library’s Sunday Series.  The event is free and open to the public.

The legacy includes the Hall of Fame, the Fenimore and Farmers’ museums, the Clark Foundation scholarship program, and the preservation of the east side of Otsego Lake.

She is the great-great-granddaughter of Edward Clark, a partner with Isaac Singer in the development of the Singer Sewing Machine Co.
