Cooperstown Asks For Proposals
For Study Of Downtown Parking
COOPERSTOWN – A Feb. 22 “pre-bid” meeting is planned in Village Hall on a study, approved Monday by the Village Board, to determine Cooperstown’s parking needs and how to fill them, including how on-street paid parking should be adjusted in the future.
Issues to be studied include what to do about parking for Bassett and Otesaga employees, how to craft a proposal for a residential permit system around the Business District, and perhaps even whether a parking garage makes strategic and financial sense.
