The savings from the first step, and new revenues from the second are expected to improve Fox’s financial picture by $6 million a year, helping assure financial stability in the years ahead.
The announcement follows a $21.4 million grant announced in March to allow Fox to restructure its debt.
In an interview, Bassett Network President/CEO Vance Brown said this new step was part of the agreement that made the earlier funding available.
Additionally, Fox’s electronic medical records will be fully merged into the Bassett Network’s EPIC system by early in 2017, another requirement of the funding.
