CV-S GRADUATION 2019

27 Conquer High School,

‘Tomorrow, The World’

Beneath a dramatic backdrop, a huge Stars & Stripes in the CV-S high school gym, senior Makayla Gwinn introduces the class advisers, teachers David Lamouret and Cecilia Hill, as this morning’s graduation of 27 seniors. Inset, Valedictorian Ryan Burr accepts his diploma from School Board President Robert Tabor. In his Valedictory, Burr told his classmates, “Today, we are conquerors of high school, tomorrow we will be conquerors of the world.”  Due to a scheduling conflict, commencement wasn’t held at Glimmerglass Opera,  as it usually is, but Superintendent Therijo Clilmenhaga said plans are to move back there next year.   (Jim Kevlin /AllOTSEGO.com)
