Candidate, Weds Over Weekend

Zephyr Teachout, the Democratic candidate for Congress for Otsego County, married Nick Juliusburger on Saturday in a small ceremony with family and friends in Dover Plains.

Rev. Megan Sanders of the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Pleasant Valley, officiated.

The couple released the following statement:  “We are thrilled and grateful to share our commitment to each other with those closest to us, and the community we love.”

After celebrating her wedding, Teachout went back on the campaign trail with a series of weekend events all over the Hudson Valley and Catskills.

Juliusburger is a principal at Yellowfish Software, where he specializes in software interface design. The couple owns a home together in Clinton, Oneida County.
