Carpenter, Merchandiser, Truck Driver, More
ONEONTA – William Patrick Powers, 61, passed peacefully into the arms of his savior Jesus Christ on Aug. 12, 2019, at home, where he wanted to be.
He was born Oct. 21, 1957, in Oneonta, the son of William Joseph and Mary Jane (Campbell) Powers.
Bill was a lifelong Oneonta resident. He was a carpenter, merchandiser, truck driver and jack-of-all-trades. He was meticulous with his work, believing in taking your time and doing the job right the first time.
He attended Main Street Baptist Church in Oneonta.
Bill is survived by his wife, Sabrina L. Devins; stepsons, Christopher Devins, Russell (Sarah) Devins and Randy Devins; step-granddaughters, Serenity, Scarlett and Symphony Devins; brothers, Tom (Gloria) Powers, Terry (Kathy) Powers and Tim (Cherie) Powers; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents.

Bill & Tim are amongst my most memorable childhood friends. It’s been many years since we played together but Tim’s kid brother is remembered for his cool view on life. Later Bill! Ed
