HOLLISTER, WILSEY COMPETE

Top Runners On Roster

To Benefit Food Pantry

It was a small group in today’s Corn Maze 5K in the Fly Creek Valley, but it included some top local runners. Leading at the starting line were Chuck Hollister of Oneonta, CCS ’06, and Frank Wilsey of Fly Creek, who both place or win local races regularly. The race was a straight 2.5K on the Fly Creek Valley Road toward the hamlet, then 2.5K back, but the hilly terrain presented a particular challenge. Inset, among attendees were three generations of guys: grandpa Eric Pierce of Cooperstown, and dad and son Brian and Callum Hennigan, 6, both of Greenwich, Conn. The 5K benefited the Cooperstown Food Bank. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
