Perlman, Pietraface, Baker Reelected
As SUNY College Foundation Leaders
ONEONTA – Paul Perlman,’76, of Orchard Park, partner at the Buffalo law firm of Hodgson Russ LLP, was reelected as president of the SUNY Oneonta College Foundation Board of Directors
Bill Pietraface, SUNY Oneonta professor emeritus of biology, has been reelected vice president, and Carol Baker,’66, retired chair of the OHS Guidance Department, as secretary.
By the virtue of their administrative appointments at SUNY Oneonta, Vice President for Finance and Administration Todd Foreman serves as treasurer, and Vice President for College Advancement Paul Adamo, a 1981 SUNY Oneonta graduate, is the board’s executive director.
Under the board’s leadership, the foundation’s comprehensive campaign, “Possibilities Full of Promise,” exceeded its goal of $12.5 million. The campaign, which launched in April 2013 and closed on June 30, raised $13.6 million for student scholarships and travel, and faculty development. It also pushed the SUNY Oneonta endowment past $50 million, the largest endowment among all SUNY comprehensive colleges.
The foundation’s mission is to raise and administer gifts and grants to enhance the academic status of SUNY Oneonta through endowment, scholarships and institutional programs.
