Lions’ Poster Contest Seeks
‘We’re All Connected’ Entries
COOPERTOWN – The Cooperstown Lions Club is sponsoring a youth Peace Poster Contest on the theme, “We’re All Connected,” in conjunction with the 2021 Cooperstown Winter Carnival.
The local winner will receive $250. Participants must be 11, 12 or 13 years old on Nov. 15, 2021. The winning poster will also be submitted to the Lions district for further judging and possible higher state and international level consideration and awards.
Expression of the theme, artistic merit and originality are the three criteria used to evaluate the posters at all judging levels.
Photographs of the entries must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Feb. 1, via email to cooperstownwintercarnival@gmail.com. Once the judges decide on the winning poster arrangements will be made to pick up the physical poster from the winner.

The Cooperstown Lions Club meets the first and third Wednesdays, September through June, 6:30 pm. The Club conducts many fund development endeavors to enhance life in the Cooperstown area for various groups, families and individuals.
