Corinne Bresee Smith New GOHS President

Corinne Bresee Smith, center, has been elected as the new President of the Greater Oneonta Historical Society, and stands with Vice President Wayne Wright, Kathy Meeker, Treasurer, Fiona Dejardin, outgoing Historian, Janet Potter, former President, secretary Cathy Nardi and Bob Brzozowski. The board voted on proposed bylaws, elected trustees and officers and removed the position of HIstorian. "The position was made before (GOHS) even had a building. " explained Brzozowski, "Changing times and bylaws made the position redundant. We are now moving toward having a paid director and employee who will do the work." (Ian Austin/ AllOTSEGO.com)
