Lewis lead Hawkeyes to golf win over S-E

Spencer Lewis took medalist honors as Cooperstown beat visiting Sherburne-Earlville by more than 20 strokes in a golf match at Leatherstocking Golf Course on Wednesday, May 19.

Lewis shot a plus-five 40 on the par 35 front nine, two shots better than S-E’s top golfer, Andrew Fern.

Ian Quinn shot 45, Chris Criqui shot 48 and Charlie Lambert shot a 51 to round out the Cooperstown scoring.

Cooperstown (5-2, 4-2) plays at Waterville at 3:30, Thursday, May 20.
