Jensen sets
school record
for Cooperstown
against Markham

Annelise Jensen set the school record for the 800 run with a time of 2:23.7, as Cooperstown’s girls won a track meet against host Mount Markham on Wednesday, May 26.

Claire Jensen was 0.4 off the 400 record with a 400 time of 60.7. Claire also won the 200 with a time of 27.4. Claire and Annelise joined Ireland Gable and Meah Boyles to win the 4×400 relate with a time of 4:47.6.

Sam Vezza won long jump with a jump of 14-10, took second in pole vault with an 8 foot vault and took third place in the triple jump. Braeden Victory won the high jump with a season best jump of 4 feet 10 inches. Riley Jubar made her season debut by winning the shot put with a throw of 29’5”.

The boys team lost to Markham, 75-59.

For Cooperstown, Finn Holohan won pole vault at 9’0” and triple jump with a jump of 35’7”. Cooper Hodgdon won the 110 hurdles with a time 23.7. Mikael Foutch-Carkees won discuss with a throw of 97’3” and third place in shot put 32’7.5”. Lincoln DiLorenzo won the 3,200 (15:13.5).

Girls team scores: Cooperstown 85, Mount Markham 40

Boys team scores: Mount Markham 75, Cooperstown 59
