Windsor beats Oneonta
in baseball, 8-5

Windsor defeated Oneonta, 8-5, in a Southern Tier Athletic Conference baseball game Tuesday, June 1, on the strength of two bases clearing hits by Windsor.

OHS outhit Windsor, 8 to 7, but two of the seven Windsor hits came with the bases loaded in the second and fourth innings.  Ethan Reed delivered a three-run triple in the second and Jim Lindsey delivered a bases clearing double in the fourth.

Windsor’s big hits were set up by eight Oneonta walks and two errors.

Tanner Russin lead Oneonta with three hits, including a double..

Oneonta (6-7) plays at Owego on Wednesday, June 2.
