‘Code Yellow’ At Bassett

After Norwich Fatal Crash

NORWICH – State Police are responding to a head-on collision in Norwich that has resulted in at least one fatality, according to Trooper Nathan Regal, Troop C public information officer.

At 7:36 a.m., troopers responded a two-car, head-on collision on Route 8 in Norwich.  It is unknown at this time how many people were involved in the accident.

Because of the number of victims, a Code Yellow was declared at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown.  It has since been cancelled.
