IN MEMORIAM: Neil Manley, 66; Bassett Employee
SPRINGFIELD – Neil Manley, 66, a 26-year Bassett Hospital, passed away Dec. 18, 2015 due to complications from a heart attack.
He was born Nov. 11, 1949, the son of Russell and Esther Manley (who predeceased him)
In addition to his tenure at Bassett, he worked for nine years at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville.
He is survived by his loving wife Cynthia Boisen, daughters: Alecia (Peter) Slivka, Danielle (Damon) Torain, three grandchildren Lily Slivka, Aaliyah & Ariel Torain, his daughters mother Claire Cardinale, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Beside his parents he was predeceased by siblings Norma, Nola, Marion, Doris, Lorraine, Carl and Larry.
He will be greatly missed by all. We know that anyone who knew him knew of his love of reading, hunting and his many hobbies. He is now in the Great Hunting Land above and watching over all of his loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on December 26, 2015 at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Springfield Center , visitation will preceed the service from 10 – 11 AM and a luncheon will follow the service.
