As Legislative Session Convenes

As the state Legislative session opened this week, Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, tor James L. Seward (R/C/I – Oneonta) recently met with Timothy Cardinal Dolan during the start of the 2016 legislative session. “The start of the legislative session is always special, but this year’s opening day was elevated to an even higher level thanks to the presence of Cardinal Dolan. I was privileged to meet with the Archbishop of New York privately, and took to heart his thoughtful prayer and sentiments expressed during the first meeting of the senate,” said Senator Seward.
As the state Legislative session opened this week, Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, has the opportunity to meet privately with Timothy Cardinal Dolan, archbishop of the Diocese of New York.  “The start of the legislative session is always special,” Seward said afterwards.  “But this year’s opening day was elevated to an even higher level thanks to the presence of Cardinal Dolan. I was privileged to meet with the archbishop of New York privately, and took to heart his thoughtful prayer and sentiments expressed during the first meeting of the Senate.”
