ONEONTA – Mayor Gary Herzig and Acting City Manager Meg Hungerford will collaborate on this year’s State of the City speech, which will be delivered at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the start of the Common Council meeting.

Herzig said he asked Hungerford to begin with a presentation of highpoints of 2015 – he wasn’t appointed until October  (and elected in November).  Then, he will discussed challenges and opportunities facing the city today, and a vision for the future.

In other business, Common Council plans to appoint Edmund Donley of Cooperstown and Travis Timer of Mount Vision as police officers, and promote Eric Berger to police sergeant.
