At Hartwick Rude Lecture

Hartwick college presented the 2016 Leslie G. Rude Endowed Lecture in the Anderson Center on Tuesday evening with "The New Progressive Majority vs. The Fringe Fourth: Dems and Trends" presented by guest lecturer Mark Green. Green is a former public official and best selling author, public service lawyer and Democratic politician. Green spoke about his new book Bright, Infinite Futuer: A Generational Memoir On The Progressive Rise as well as how the values of the '60's are creating a new progressive majority in '16. Mark Green, formerly New York City’s first public advocate, an ally of Ralph Nader, and a one-time candidate for the city’s mayor and the U.S. Senate from New York, delivered Hartwick College’s 2016 Leslie G. Rude Endowed Lecture, “The New Progressive Majority vs. The Fringe Fourth: Dems and Trends,” this evening at the Anderson Center for the Arts.  Green, whose latest book is “Bright, Infinite Future: A Generational Memoir On The Progressive Rise,” argued the values of the 1960s are creating a new progressive majorityi in 2016.  (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
