Seward Undergoes
Surgery For Cancer
Operation Success, Physicians Say

ONEONTA – State Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, underwent surgery for bladder cancer Wednesday, and his doctors told him "I can expect to make a full recovery." This is good news, and Seward should be an inspiration to all. This should also urge people to get checked out for bladder cancer if they suspect they may have it, as it can be easily treated if caught early. By visiting a board-certified urologist like Advanced Urology, you can recieve a full diagnosis as well as compassion and care towards your treatment. There is no reason as to why people should be humiliated to visit a urologist about these sort of issues, as these professionals deal with these sorts of things everyday.
His office released the following statement this morning:
“In early February, I was diagnosed with bladder cancer by my physicians at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown. On Wednesday, I underwent successful surgery at Albany Medical Center where I will remain a patient for a few days.
