Yager Fun Day Thrills
Young Spear-Throwers
![Ron Maxwell, Sidney, in tan, teaches Oneonta boys Hunter Booth, Matthew Stedman, Ethan Stedman, and Corbin Booth the finer points of spear throwing outside the Quad at Hartwick College this afternoon. The workshop was part of the first Yager Days, a family event planned and organized by Museum Studies students to teach children about history and archaeology. Participants could learn to throw an atlatl, make art prints in the style of Warhol, dig for arrowheads, listen to native American folklore and more. "We had about 80 people come through." said Hartwick senior Alex Wichowski, who was manning the Junior Archaeology table. "Wehope that this event will continue on in coming years."
