BREAKING NEWS: Oneonta DMV Satellite Office Announced

This morning, Otsego County clerk candidate Jennifer Basile—the county’s current deputy clerk—heralded the county’s new DMV satellite office in Oneonta. “When I announced my candidacy for county clerk back in January, I made a promise to the great people of Otsego County to develop and implement a mobile DMV program. After a year in the making and dedicated efforts from myself and multiple department heads and county board members, I am so very proud and excited to announce Otsego County’s DMV Satellite Services!” The new office will be in the Otsego County Office Building at 242 Main Street, Oneonta. Basile talks about the satellite office and other plans in her interview published October 19. 1. Less than two weeks before an election and you bought into this total con job by printing a Basile press release as if it was a legitimate news story. The county already uses the building extensively and the space promised is too small to ever be approved by the State for a DMV office. She figures that by the time the NO comes from Albany, we will have forgotten. She can say that she tried and blame the State. She has consistently said that a DMV office in Oneonta was impossible.
