Zoomobile To Help Bible School
Dramatize Story Of Noah, Flood
COOPERSTOWN – To help dramatize the Noah story, the Utica Zoomobile will pay a visit to the Cooperstown Ecumenical Council’s Vacation Bible School, which for the first time will be a one-day activities, 9 a.m.-3 p.m . this Saturday, July 16, at First Baptist Church, Elm Street.
Among the visitors will be the Zoomobile’s famed “hissing cockroach,” said Pastor Dick Sliter.
The day’s theme will be “Bible Heroes,” with actors depicting not just Noah, but Moses, Joshua, David and Jesus, plus puppets, music and art.
Youngsters, ages 3-12, may register up to the day of the event, beginning at 8:45, or at www.cooperstownvbs.eventbrite.com. Also, teenagers may volunteer to help.
There is no charge, but any contributions will defray expenses, and any surplus will go to Heifer International. (Every year, the Ecumenical Council chooses a beneficiary.)
