Seward Announces OFO Grant

To Reduce Domestic Violence

ONEONTA – State Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, announced today that $15,000 of a $65,000 total allocation he secured for local domestic violence programs will go to Opportunities for Otsego.

“These community programs provide vital services for those in dire need, who often have nowhere else to turn,” said Seward.

In addition to OFO, $15,000 each will go to the Cortland YWCA, and Catholic Charities in Herkimer and Schoharie counties, as well as $5,000 for Delaware Opportunities.
