After Trial, Worcester Man Convicted

Of Illicit Relations With 13-Year-Old

COOPERSTOWN – Jeffrey C. Feldman, 50, of 350 Hill Road, Worcester, Wednesday was convicted of illicit relations with a 13-year-old after a jury trial in Otsego County Court.

The jury, consisting of seven men and five women, deliberated for approximately five hours before returning a verdict of guilty on all counts.

Convicted of eight counts of rape and related charges, Feldman faces up to 300 years in prison at his sentencing, which is scheduled for Nov. 4.

He was represented by attorney Stephen Coffey, Albany.  The case was prosecuted by the Otsego County District Attorney John M. Muehl.  Judge Kevin P. Dooley presided.
