ONEONTA – Jermaine Bagnall-Graham of Sherburne, the Democratic candidate for the 51st state Senate, debuts locally this evening at the annual Henry Nicols Democratic Dinner at Foothills Performing Arts Center.   Cocktail hour is 6-6:30.

The keynote speaker will gain be Tom DiNapoli, the state comptroller.  The guest of honor is Irene Stein, longtime Tompkins County chair who chaired the Democratic Rural Caucus.

Bagnall-Graham will be joined by Democratic candidates Zephyr Teachout (for Congress, against Republican John Faso), Assemblyman Bill Magee (challenged by John Salka), and 101st Assembly candidate Arlene Feldmeier (vs. Claudia Tenney).

In the 51st District, Bagnall-Graham had faced Ilion attorney Audrey Dunning in Tuesday’s primary, until her petitions failed to withstand a challenge and she dropped out of the race two weeks ago, according to Richard Abbate of Cooperstown, the Democratic county chair.
