Colleges Go ‘Into Streets

For Annual Day Of Service

SUNY Oneonta students Alyssa LaMantia, right, and Rachel Drabczyk, clear the grounds of the historic Swart Wilcox House, Oneonta’s oldest, during annual “Into The Street” activities today, organized by the college’s Center for Social Responsibility & Community. Students, raked, painted, planted, organized, carried, scraped and cleaned at various locations across Oneonta and beyond.  The center’s director, Linda Drake, reported 600 students participated this year on 45 projects.  (Ian Austin/AllOTSEGO.com)
