A Night To Remember

With the annual Cooperstown Cotillion underway, middle-schoolers will be floating across the dance floor at The Otesaga ballroom until 10 this evening.   A tearful Jeannette Weldon, top photo, watches son Will escort his partner across The Otesaga lobby.  Lower left are Finn Holohan and Heartland Frable.  Middle right, Tulip Bailey, left, and Gracie Agostino excitedly await the start of the promenade.  Lower right, Audrey Dutcher sails along on Nathan Savoie’s arm.  Six weeks of dance instruction – this year, from Dr. Matthew Curtis and wife Alma – lead up to the annual event, designed to teach the young participants both ballroom dancing and etiquette.  (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
