BASEBALL HALL OF FAME PORTAL

George Christopher, an eighth grader at the Hazlett (N.J.) Middle School, today became the 16 millionth visit to the National Baseball Hall of Fame since its founding in 1939. The boy had his membership upgraded from "individual" to "sustaining," and received a $100 gift certificate to the museum store. George first visited the Hall when a few months old, and has been back perhaps 20 times. His parents, Beth and Michael, visit a friend who owns a home on Otsego Lake, and George attended the past three Inductions as well. Here, WETR reporter Julia Rose outfits George for sound.
