Jacelyn O’Connor, 11, Morris;
Would Have Entered 6th Grade
MORRIS – Jacelyn O’Connor of Morris went to meet the angels on July 30, 2017, at the age of 11 years old. She was born on April 6, 2006.
She is survived by her loving mother, Rebecca Hamm of Morris, and several brothers and sisters: Rachael Edney, Shianne Hamm and Nick Hill, Devin O’Connor, Alex Gilbert, Wyatt Gilbert, DJ Fields and Lisa Van Why, Kareem Gale and Amanda Cruz, Khaliq Gale, Jacoyia Byrne, Noah Brower, Chris Brower and Brandon Brower.
In addition to her mother and siblings, Jacelyn was also survived by her special cousin “baby” Chris, Chester Brower (Papa), Uncle Anthony and Aunt Lisa (family) Wilchynski, Uncle Lewey and Aunt Chris, Shawn Brower, Brent Brower, Candi Brower and (birth parents) Andrew O’Connor and Mandy M. Gilbert; along with many other amazing aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jacelyn (AKA Jack) was a bright, funny, sweet girl who loved with all her heart. Jacelyn’s smile could light up a room and her laugh would definitely make you giggle.
She attended Morris Central School. It was there that she developed and cherished her friendships with her fellow classmates. Jacelyn would have been entering the 6th grade at the start of the school year.
Among many things, Jacelyn loved reading, adventure, being creative and artistic, playing with the neighborhood kids, slumber parties, exploring nature, gardening, camping, swimming, baking, and playing Minecraft and sports. More importantly, she loved spending time her family. Jacelyn was loved by all and will be truly missed by so many.
