St. Mary’s Blesses Lenten Food

Father John Rosson of St. Mary’s Church in Cooperstown today blesses over 750 containers of oatmeal and 325 jars of peanut butter. The food was donated by parishioners as part of the church’s Lenten food drive ahead of Easter Sunday. Rosson explained that the food will go toward those who may be struggling financially. More specifically, the peanut butter will be donated to the School Backpack Program, operated by the Cooperstown Food Bank. (Parker Fish/AllOTSEGO.com)
