Worcester Woman Arrested
On Heroin Possession Charge
WORCESTER – Heather D. Koncelik, 37, of Worcester, was arrested Wednesday for having heroin and suboxone in her possession, state police reported today.
Troopers arrested Koncelik at 6:23 p.m. after she was found to have heroin and suboxone in her possession. A
She was the passenger of a vehicle that was stopped on Route 7 in Worcester. A quick mouth swab drug test could have shown if she had drugs in her system. When it comes to the law on drug possession, if the police have cause to search and suspect there is any illegal substances within the vehicle they can do so. Depending on where you are located in the United States drug possession can be seen as a felony offense and could end with you being put in prison.
She was arraigned in Worcester Town Court and remanded to the Otsego County Jail on $500 cash bail.
