Smiles Overcome Downpour

Grace LeCates, center, one of the four top scholars in the Class of 2018, poses with her dad, Dr. Bill LeCates, the Bassett Hospital president, mom Debbie and her siblings after this afternoon’s outdoor Cooperstown Central graduation on the lawn behind The Fenimore Art Museum, which was punctuated by downpours. At left, smiling grad Tre ‘Mesha Harrison, right, was joined by Emily Manzer, center, and Mae Loewenguth. Grace LeCates’ cousin, Heidi Edmonds, was another of the four top scholars, along with Kelly Mooney and Sophia Lesko. (Jim Kevlin/AllOTSEGO.com)
