IN MEMORIAM: Wanda J. Tiffany, 89;
Lifelong Resident Of Edmeston Area
EDMESTON – Wanda J. Tiffany, 89, a lifelong resides of the Edmeston area,, passed away Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, in Little Falls.
Wanda was born on Jan. 30, 1929 in Edmeston, the daughter of the late Howard and Pearl Hickling Colburn.
Wanda was a member of the Garrattsville Methodist Church, and through her hard work and dedication, she earned her GED later in life.
She was a talented piano player who loved many types of music, but was drawn to older country and western music. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and was known to play a mean game of Pitch, Rummy, or Yahtzee.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Murphy of Edmeston and Linda Winsor of Bloomfield; grandchildren Kevin (Kim) Rous and Kristie (Martin) Willix; great-grandchildren Justin, Jason, Jordan, George, Maxwell and Marissa, and two great-great- grandchildren Jaiden and Jackson. Also, four sisters Margaret Crumb of Geneva, Pearl “Sally” Pickens of Richfield Springs, Jone Lum of Edmeston, and Patricia Maher of West Winfield, along with several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Mason Tiffany on Dec. 19, 2001, five brothers Cecil, Donald, Edwin, Howard, Fay, and Kenneth, two sisters Ruth and Betty, and a great granddaughter Erika.
Calling hours will be 2-4- p.m. Saturday Aug. 11, at the Delker & Terry Funeral Home, 30 South St., Edmeston. Funeral services will follow immediately at the funeral Home with Andy Johnson, pastor of the Second Baptist Church of Edmeston, officiating. Interment will be in Edmeston Union Cemetery.
