Seward Will Provide Grants
To Responders In 3 Counties
ONEONTA –On the eve of 9/11, state Sen. Jim Seward, R-Milford, will be in Delaware, Schoharie, and Otsego counties Monday to announce state grants for police and emergency services.
His local stop will be at 6 p.m. at the West Oneonta Fire Department on Route 23.
These grants will improve communications systems, help fight the heroin epidemic, and provide law enforcement officials with the tools they need to do their job safely and efficiently.
Seward will be joined by Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond, Schoharie County Sheriff Ronald Stevens, and West Oneonta Fire Chief Walter Schmitt Jr. along with department members.
