Upstate That He Won In 2010

SYRACUSE – Tuesday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo lost 43 Upstate counties, including Otsego.  He won only eight, according to an analysis from the Syracuse Post-Standard.  In 2010, he won 37 Upstate counties, including Otsego, and lost only 13.

“Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo ran for a second term as the first state leader in decades who paid attention to Upstate New York,” the Post-Standard reported.  “But on Tuesday, Upstate voters did not love Cuomo back, according to unofficial returns.”
