ONEONTA – George Saunders, author of the highly acclaimed short story collection, “The Tenth of December,” was among the dozens of celebrities – from Henry Kissinger to Alex Trebek – singing “We’ll Meet Again” on last evening’s finale of “The Colbert Report.”

Saunders, a Syracuse University professor and one of the most celebrated living writers, lives in an undisclosed location in or around Oneonta, and is often seen at the Green Toad Bookstore and other local venues.
