Seven inches of fluffy snow fell on Otsego County overnight, the first substantial snowstorm of the 2014-15 season.
The National Weather Service is reporting about another half-foot of snow will fall into this evening in Oneonta and Cooperstown, with temperatures holding at 10 degrees.
By 9 p.m., the snow is supposed to taper off, with temperatures dropping to -4, and winds pushing the chill factor to -13.
