IN MEMORIAM: Frank Malzone, 85; Major Leaguer Got Start In Oneonta ONEONTA – Frank Malzone, 85, who got his start with the Oneonta Red Sox and became a six-time All-Star third baseman for the Boston Red Sox, died Tuesday at his home in Needham, Mass.
