Digital Sign Ordered For Fire House COOPERSTOWN The illuminated sign in front of the Chestnut Street fire house is about to be replaced with a digital one from Stewart Signs, “America’s Premier Sign Company,” of Sarasota, Fla. At its April meeting on the 29th, the Village Board gave the go-ahead to the fire department, which is paying for the placard.  The village is exempt from its sign law.
