The Otsego County Chamber of Commerce this morning announced that Marcy Birch, center, proprietor, Barnyard Swing, Hartwick Seminary, has won this year’s Key Bank 16th annual Small Business of the Year Award, and Northern Eagle Hop Pelletizing Co., represented by George Allen, left of Birch, is the Excellus/Blue Cross Breakthrough Business of the Year. Others, from left, are Community Bank’s Joe Sutaris, the chamber board chair; chamber President Barbara Ann Heegan, and, representing Key Bank, Allen Ruffles, Cooperstown branch manager.
