SUNY Renaming Science Center To Honor of Professor Al Read ONEONTA – SUNY Oneonta’s Science Discovery Center will be renamed the A.J. Read Science Discovery Center during a rededication ceremony 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the Morris Conference Center on campus. County Democratic Committee Backs Herzig, Bernier ONEONTA –  The Otsego County Democratic Committee’s Executive Board has endorsed Gary Herzig for mayor of Oneonta and City Judge Lucy Bernier for another term, county Chair Richard Abbate announced this evening.
