The museum contracted with the Williamstown (Mass.) Art Conservation Center, which relined, cleaned, refilled and revarnished the painting. Itzen, 88, who raised sheep, spun yarn and knitted at her Milford Center farm, passed away Friday morning, Dec. 11, 2015, at Bassett Hospital.  She had been living at Woodside Hall.
