Lutheran Chorale Service Helps Mark 500th Birthday Presiding Pastor Paul Messner at Oneonta’s  Lutheran Church of The Atonement, gives communion to those who gather this evening the a Chorale Service of Holy Communion, part of the 500th anniversary commemorations of Martin Luther nailing his 95 Theses on the cathedral door at Wittenburg, launching the Protestant Reformation.   The service was mostly in German after the tradition of Luther’s Duetsche Messe. Christmas In July EDD Memorial Fund Beneficiary of 100 Women Who Care Event Three not-for-profits, each chosen at random, made their pitch this evening in hopes of being chosen as the recipient of the 100 Women Who Care event, who gathered at the B-side this afternoon.
