Schuermann Tops Scalici In School Board Balloting COOPERSTOWN – Matt Schuermann will join the CCS Board of Education after today’s voting. School board President Marcy Birch led the balloting with 433 votes, followed closely by Schuermann with 419.  Tony Scalici, a 24-year-veteran, received 364, and Nancy Areliusson, 149.  The four were competing for three seats. The school budget, library budget and school-bus lease were all approved in today’s balloting.…
