Accident Victim Was Morris Man ONEONTA – Oneonta state troopers have identified Guillermo J. Soto, 50, of Morris, as the driver killed in the fatal car accident in the Town of Pittsfield on Saturday morning. According to a press release, Soto had been driving his 2000 Daewoo Lanos northbound on the roadway when he lost control, for an unknown reason, and struck a tree on the west shoulder.  He was found deceased in the driver’s seat with his seat belt on.…

One-Car Crash Kills Driver In Pittsfield PITTSFIELD – Oneonta state troopers are investigating a one-vehicle crash that killed a 50-year-old male in the early morning hours Saturday in the Town of Pittsfield. The man, whose name has not been released pending notification of the family, was driving northbound on County Route 18 at approximately 5:35 a.m.  when he drove off the road, striking a tree.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.
