BASSETT ALERTS STAFF TO HACKING  OF EXCELLUS-BLUE CROSS RECORDS COOPERSTOWN – Bassett Healthcare advised its employees this morning that the medical records of their health-insurance carrier, Rochester-based Excellus-Blue Cross’ computer system, had been hacked. “We’re letting our employees know because we want to take care of our employees,” said Bill Stamp, vice president/marketing & communications.
