BASSETT ALERTS STAFF TO HACKING  OF EXCELLUS-BLUE CROSS RECORDS COOPERSTOWN – Bassett Healthcare advised its employees this morning that the medical records of their health-insurance carrier, Rochester-based Excellus-Blue Cross’ computer system, had been hacked. “We’re letting our employees know because we want to take care of our employees,” said Bill Stamp, vice president/marketing & communications. Dunbar, 84; UCLA Professor Retired To Cooperstown COOPERSTOWN – Dr. Gary Seamans Dunbar, Professor Emeritus of the University of California at Los Angeles, died peacefully on Aug. 16, 2015, at Bassett Hospital.
