Hall of Fame To Host Banana Ball at the Hall on Friday, Sept. 15

MLB Alumni To Coach Doubleday Field Skills Clinic for Pathfinder Village

Next Tuesday, August 29, Major League Baseball player alumni will join Pathfinder Village residents at Cooperstown’s historic Doubleday Field for a third annual skills clinic starting at 1:30 p.m.
More than 60 players from Edmeston’s Pathfinder Village, a nationally recognized residential community and service provider for people with Down syndrome and other disabilities, will attend to refine their hitting, fielding, and throwing under the tutelage of past professional players.…

Coop Cyclist Wins Masters Men Time Trial

The New York State Bicycle Racing Association held its 2023 New York State Time Trial Championship races on Saturday, August 19 on a new course along State Route 166. Steve Gaunt Completes Otsego Lake Swim

Why does one swim the length of Lake Otsego? Because it is a challenge, and it’s there. Olympic Skier Visits Cooperstown

Jonny Moseley, a freestyle skier and television presenter, visited Cooperstown to attend his son’s Dreams Park tournament. Moseley won a gold medal in moguls at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan. He also took second place in the Big Air event at the 1999 X Games, and placed fourth at the 2002 Olympics. Moseley is the first person born in Puerto Rico to become a member of the U.S. Ski Team.…
