ONEONTA – Two men were arrested and more than $7,000 in heroin and cocaine were seized in a raid this morning at the Townhouse Inn on Main Street in Oneonta.

Allen E. McMullen, 25, with no address, and Donald F. Starr 3rd, 37, Davenport Center were arrested after a joint investigation by the Oneonta Police Department Detective Division and the NYS Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations, along with K-9 Diff, served a search warrant at the Townhouse Inn, 318 Main St. Oneonta.

In the course of the investigation, police discovered 6.5 grams of heroin with a street value of approximately $6,500, 5.1 grams of cocaine with a street value of approximately $1,000 and $2,373 in US currency

Both were charged with the Class B felony of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree.  If convicted, each face a maximum sentence of 25 years.
